hello... I thought I would share a few high street bargains today :) my plan for this year was to re paint most of the house but as yet I don't seem to be getting very far. I have spotted a few things and brought them home in the hope it would inspire me...as yet it hasn't quite worked but I live in hope :)
Firstly was this fine retro lamp in yellow - here
and these brilliant prints from good old
the lurgy is still lurking and I haven't been up to much but I have been busy with the pom pom makers and have made a few cushions :)

Love those prints Jane......I'm in need of decoration too, and yes, we are half way through March.......and I've not picked up a paintbrush too, what are we like!

Oh I love that yellow lamp! I spotted them in good old Wilkos the other day too and thought they were super nice. They also have cool vintage style anglepoise lights this season and I think I'm going to get the black one for my little desk area. Like that storage jar too. Some very good shopping! x

ReplyDeleteHa ha your post really made me smile. I knew that lamp was from Wilkos cos we were in there this morning and I said to my Lovely Man how bang on trend their homewares are. Then Matalan must check them out AND I'm off to Ikea on Monday with my Mum and Dad, my Dad's never been, he thinks he can find his way round without following the arrows!!!!! We shall see ha ha ha!
